Upper left on the mirror field of the disc – a bust portrait of V.I. Bazhenov with an inscription above it along the rim: 'VASILY IVANOVICH BAZHENOV', lower right on the second mirror field – a relief image of the Figured Bridge of the western entrance to Tsaritsyno, on two matte fields – objects from the complex of V.I. Bazhenov's original ensemble project: upper right – the Grand Cavalier Building, lower left – the Church of the Holy Mother of God and the Hexagonal Pavilion, in the center of the disc – a color image of an Ionic order capital.

In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'TWENTY FIVE RUBLES', slightly below on the left is the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table Ag and fineness 925, below in the center is the minting year '2013', below on the right is the weight of pure precious metal '155.50' and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'SPMD'. In the center of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the issuer's name 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
