  • Reverse
    The upper part of the coin features the crown of the Russian Empire. The center is occupied by a four-line inscription: GOSUDAR= STVENNAYA ROSSIYSKAYA MONETA. Below the inscription is the abbreviation 'S.P.B.' (Saint Petersburg Mint). Along the left edge of the coin is a laurel branch, and along the right edge, an oak branch. The branches are tied together at the base with a ribbon forming a bow. Below the bow are the mintmaster's initials 'Kh.L.' (Khristofor Leo). The rim is decorated with raised denticles.
  • Obverse
    The central part features five shields arranged in a cross shape. The central shield depicts the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle holding a scepter and orb. The top shield is the Moscow coat of arms, the bottom is the coat of arms of the Siberian Tsardom. The left shield is the coat of arms of the Astrakhan Tsardom, the right is the Kazan Tsardom. The top shield is crowned with an imperial crown, the other three shields are crowned with tsarist crowns. Between the circular shields are four rosettes. In the upper part, along the rim, is the circular inscription 'DESYAT' RUBLEI' (TEN RUBLES), divided by an imperial crown. In the lower part is the year of mintage '1805 GODA.' (1805 YEAR.), divided by a tsarist crown. The rim is decorated with denticles.
