In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'THREE RUBLES'; slightly below on the left are the metal designation from the periodic table Ag and fineness 925; below in the center is the mintage year '2008'; below on the right are the precious metal weight in pure content 31.10 and the manufacturer's (mint) mark 'SPMD'. In the central part of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the issuer's name 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
