    In the central part, there is a cartouche with a four-line inscription: MO. AUR.REG. BELGIIAD LEGEMIMPERII. (gold coin of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in accordance with the law of the empire). On the sides of the cartouche are arabesques and four floral rosettes.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, a knight standing full-length is depicted. In his right hand, he holds a sword, in his left – a bundle of arrows. To the left of the knight's head is a torch, to the right – an eagle (the coat of arms of Poland). On both sides of the knight are numbers: on the left – '18', on the right – '31', indicating the date of issue (1831). The knight divides the circular inscription (motto) along the rim – 'CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT.' ('concord makes small things grow').
