    The center is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread, both heads wearing crowns, with a larger third crown above and between the heads. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. Under the right talon is the letter "M", under the left the letter "D". The mintmark of the Kadashevsky Mint. Around the eagle the inscription: ПОЛꙊПОЛЪТИННИКЪ ҂АѰД (1704). The rim is decorated with dots.

    The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Peter I, crowned with a laurel wreath. Around the portrait the inscription: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ. The rim is decorated with dots.
