    In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of a panorama of the monuments of the Holy Danilov Monastery. To the right is a monument to Saint Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow (1997, designed by V.P. Mokrousov and A.I. Korovin), on the pedestal are the dates '1261-1303'. At the top along the rim is the text: HOLY DANILOV MONASTERY, at the bottom: 'MOSCOW'.

    In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'THREE RUBLES'. Slightly below on the left is the metal designation from Mendeleev's periodic table, Ag, and the fineness 900. Below in the center is the mintage year '2003'. Below on the right is the weight of the precious metal in pure form, 31.10, and the manufacturer's (mint) designation 'MMD'. In the central part of the characteristic dotted rim is a double-headed eagle, and below it is stamped the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK OF RUSSIA'.
