    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the emblem of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Below is a hexagon framed by leaves; on its surface are latent images of the number 10 and the word "LET" (YEARS), which become visible alternately when the viewing angle is changed. Around the circumference is the text: COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES.

    At the top along the rim is the inscription "BANK OF ROSSII" (BANK OF RUSSIA). In the center of the coin is a double-headed eagle, below it the denomination "ODIN RUBL" (ONE RUBLE). Under the eagle's left foot is the mint mark "SPMD". At the bottom near the edge is the year of issue "2001"; above the year are two pointed, oppositely directed lines with a dot between them.
