    In the central part, within a mirrored oval – a battle scene: on the left, a detachment of Russian warriors galloping with drawn swords; above them, a fluttering banner with the image of the Savior; behind them on the left, a mighty tree; on the right, a detachment of Horde warriors armed with bows, galloping towards the Russian warriors; above them, flying arrows; behind them on the right, two yurts. In the upper part of the coin disc – stylized images of the sun, moon, and stars. On the matte area of the coin disc framing the mirrored oval, at the top – the army of heavenly patrons; at the bottom – stylized figures of three birds and three wolves with open jaws. In the lower part of the coin disc – a cartouche with a four-line inscription: "625TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF KULIKOVO"; to the left of it, a shield and sword; to the right, a bow and a quiver with arrows.

Slightly below on the left, the metal's designation from the periodic table, Ag, and fineness 925 are stated. Below in the center, the year of minting "2005" is placed. Below on the right, the weight of pure precious metal "1000.0" and the mint mark (mint) "SPMD" are struck. Within a characteristic dotted rim in the central part, a double-headed eagle is located, and below it, the issuer's name "BANK OF RUSSIA" is struck.
