    The center is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle with wings spread, both heads wearing crowns, with a larger third crown above and between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the text: МАНЕТА НОВАѦ ЦЕНА ПОЛТИНА ҂АѰИI (1718). The coin's edge has a beaded border.
