Reverse The center of the reverse is occupied by the inscription: 10GROSZYPOLS• A laurel branch is located at the left edge, and an oak branch at the right. The bases of the branches are tied together with a ribbon.
Obverse The center of the obverse features a crowned double-headed eagle. On its chest is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland, placed under a royal crown and a canopy. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter and a sword, and below it is the initial 'F•'. In its left talon, an orb is visible, and below it is the initial 'H•'. Together, the letters indicate the mintmaster Fryderyk Hunger. Above the eagle's heads is the issue date '1828', divided by a large crown.
