  • Reverse
    The central part features a three-line inscription: 2ZŁO• POL•1828. This is surrounded by a wreath of two oak branches, joined together at the bottom. Below the join are the initials FH, for Mintmaster Fryderyk Hunger. At the top edge of the coin is a decorative six-pointed star, visually marking the start of the circular inscription along the rim: MIKOŁAY I. CES• WSZ• ROSSYI KRÓL POLSKI PANUJĄCY. Translation: Nicholas I, Emperor of All Russia, King of Poland, Reigning. The edge is decorated with denticles pointing towards the center.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Russian Emperor Alexander I, wearing a laurel wreath. At the top of the coin is a six-pointed star, visually marking the start of the circular inscription: ALEXANDER I. CES•ROS•WSKRZESICIEL KRÓL•POLS•1815 (Translation: 'Alexander I, Emperor of Russia, Restorer of the Kingdom of Poland 1815'). The edge is decorated with short denticles.
