Obverse The center of the obverse features the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a larger third crown is positioned above and between them. In its right talon is a scepter, in its left an orb. Around the eagle is the text: MONETA•ARGNTIA
