The center of the reverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle, both heads of which bear crowns. A third, larger crown is above and between them. On the eagle's chest is the coat of arms of Moscow—an oval shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). A chain bearing the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called encircles the shield. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle, facing inward and divided by the large crown, is the text: •1730 AUTOCRAT•OF ALL RUSSIA
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Empress Anna Ioannovna. The portrait is flanked by an inscription in a semicircle: 'B•M•ANNA EMPRESS'.
