On the ring, the inscription along the lower circumference: UGLICH.
Obverse
In the upper part along the rim arc is the coin's denomination 'ONE HUNDRED RUBLES'. Slightly below on the left is the metal's designation from the periodic table, Au, and fineness 999. Below in the center is the year of mintage '2004'. At the bottom right is the pure weight of the precious metal in the outer ring '124.40' and the mintmark 'SPMD'. In the center, within a circle of dots, is a double-headed eagle. Along the inner arc of the circle, the inscription BANK OF RUSSIA. To the left of the eagle is the chemical designation Ag and fineness 925, to the right is the pure weight of the precious metal in the central insert '105.60'.
