The center is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread, both heads wearing crowns, with a larger third crown above and between the heads. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle, the text reads: МАНЕТА ДОБРАѦ ЦЕНА ПОЛТIНА ҂АѰЕ (1705). The coin's edge features a beaded border.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by a right-facing profile portrait of Peter I, crowned with a laurel wreath. Around the portrait, the inscription reads: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ • АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ • ВСЕѦ РОСИI • ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ. The rim is executed as a twisted rope pattern (denticles at an angle to the field).
