    The central part features the State Emblem of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads are crowned with two coronets, with a third, larger crown above them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the inscription: MONETA NOVAIA TSENA POLTINA 1725. The coin's edge is decorated with a twisted border.
