Obverse At the top along the rim (edge) is the coin's denomination 'DVA RUBLYA' (TWO RUBLES). In the center of the coin is a double-headed eagle and below it, arranged in a semicircle, the words 'BANK ROSSII' (BANK OF RUSSIA).
