In the central part, there is an inscription — the word "KOPEKS". Above the word, the denomination is indicated — the number "10.". Below the word — "1803.", the year of minting. Below the date — the designation of the Saint Petersburg Mint "S.P B.". Along the edge of the coin, near the rim, there are relief elements in the form of a double border.
  • Obverse
In the central part, the State Emblem of the Russian Empire is depicted — a double-headed eagle, its heads crowned with two crowns, a third, larger crown above them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield with St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Under the right talon is the letter "A", under the left — the letter "I". The initials of mintmaster Alexander Ivanov. Along the edge of the coin, near the rim, there are relief elements in the form of a double border.
