Reverse
The central part features a four-line inscription: 3/4РУБЛЯ.5ZLOT• Below the inscription is the year of mintage — 1837. In the left part of the coin, along the edge, is a laurel branch, and in the right part, an oak branch. At the base, the branches are intertwined with a ribbon forming a bow. Raised dots are stamped around the entire edge of the coin.
Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by a double-headed eagle — the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is between them. All three crowns are connected by a ribbon. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. Heraldic shields on the wings: Left wing: Polish, Taurian, Finnish. Right wing: Kazan, Astrakhan, Siberian. In the right talon is a scepter, above it the letter 'M'. In the left talon is an orb, above it the letter 'W'. Together, the letters indicate the Warsaw Mint. The center of the obverse is enclosed within a beaded circle. At the top is an eight-petaled flower, visually marking the start of the inscription: ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 3 ЗОЛОТНИКА 15 3/4 ДОЛЕЙ (Pure Silver 3 Zolotniks 15 3/4 Dolya). The rim is decorated with dots.
