In the central part, the inscription is the word "KOPEKS". Above the word, the denomination is indicated—the number "10.". Below the word—"1809.", the year of minting. Below the date—the designation of the Saint Petersburg Mint "S.P.B.". The rim is decorated with denticles.
  • Obverse
In the central part, the State Emblem of the Russian Empire is depicted—a double-headed eagle, its heads crowned with two crowns, a third, larger crown above them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow—a shield with St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is on the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left—an orb. Under the right talon is the letter "M", under the left—the letter "K". The initials of mintmaster Mikhail Kleiner. The rim is decorated with denticles.
