  • Reverse
The center of the reverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle, both heads of which bear crowns. A third, larger crown is above and between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). A chain with the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called surrounds the shield. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. Around the eagle, facing inward, is the text: MONETA RUBL 1730
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse features the right-facing profile of the Russian Empress Anna Ioannovna. From left to right along the rim in an arc runs the inscription: BM ANNA IMPERATRITS I SAMODERZHITS VSIEROSSISKAIA
