The upper part of the coin features the crown of the Russian Empire. The central part is stamped with the denomination—the number 10. Below the denomination is the name of the monetary unit "KOPѢEKЪ". Below that is a line, under which is the abbreviation "S.P.B." (Saint Petersburg Mint). Along the left edge of the coin is a laurel branch, and along the right edge is an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied together with a ribbon. Raised denticles are stamped along the coin's edge.
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the lesser coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle with wings spread. The eagle's heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow—a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Surrounding the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Under the right talon is the letter "F", under the left is the letter "G". The initials of mintmaster Fedor Gelman. Below is the year of minting "1811.". The rim is decorated with denticles.
