    The field is divided into three unequal segments by two horizontal parallel lines. In the central part, within a smaller diameter circle, is an ancient Greek depiction of an athlete on a two-horse chariot, facing right. To the left and right of it are inscriptions in Braille. Below the chariot, in the middle segment, are human figures symbolizing various sports: rhythmic gymnastics, running, javelin throw, wrestling, and kayaking. In the upper segment, along the rim, is an inscription in Ukrainian: «IГРИ XXX ОЛIМПIАДИ», which translates to «Games of the XXX Olympiad». In the lower segment, along the rim, is the Roman numeral «XXX», framed by laurel branches.

    The field is divided into two unequal segments by a vertical line. In the central part is a view of the city of London. To the right of Big Ben is the mintmark of the Kyiv Mint, below it the city name in Ukrainian: «Лондон» (London), and below that an inscription in Braille. Further below is the inscription: «2 ГРИВНI» - 2 Hryvnias. In the central part of the left segment is an Olympic torch, to the left of it an inscription in Braille. To the left, top, and right is an inscription in Ukrainian: «НАЦIОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ», which translates to «National Bank of Ukraine». The inscription is divided by the Coat of Arms of Ukraine. In the lower part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the year of mintage 2012.
