Along the upper edge of the coin's rim is the name of the commemorative event in English: 'Diamond Wedding of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II & H.R.H. Prince Phillip'.

Centered is a double right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary of Great Britain (in the foreground) and her husband Philip Mountbatten. Below the truncation of the portraits are the Latin letters 'PM'. Around the circumference along the rim with dentilated elements in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of minting '2007'.
