    In the central part, two warriors are depicted: one stands on his feet, raising a sword above his head; the other lies on his back, shielding himself with a shield and holding a spear in his left hand. To the left, the horizontal inscription "2|000". Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top "FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE 476", at the bottom "1 CROWN".
  • Obverse
    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf - "RDM", below the truncation the Latin letters "PM". Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name "ELIZABETH II", on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency "ISLE OF MAN" and the year of minting "1997". Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
