In the central part, framed by a circle of dots, is a two-line inscription fifty cents - '50 cents'. To the left, along the rim, the word 'BRITISH', to the right - 'HONDURAS', below - the year of issue, framed by dots - '∙1911∙'. The words and year are placed within compartments separated by vignettes. All inscriptions are in English. The edge of the coin features denticles.
Obverse
In the central part is a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. To the right, below, and left along the rim with raised denticles, is the inscription 'Queen Elizabeth the Second' in English: QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND.
