    The central part features a portrait of Diana Frances Spencer facing forward. The portrait is framed at the bottom on both sides by a rose. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top - 'DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES - THE WORK CONTINUES', at the bottom in two lines - '1 CROWN'.
  • Obverse
    Centered is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of minting '2002'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man – a triskelion. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
