    In the central part, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak leaves, the Roman numeral 'V' - 5 centavos. Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, a bow, a war club, and a quiver with arrows, tied together with a ribbon. To the left, above, and to the right along the rim is the country name Republic of Mexico in Spanish: 'REPUBLICA MEXICANA.'. In the lower part along the curve of the coin's edge is the mint year 1882. Around the edge of the coin are decorative denticle-shaped elements.
