Along the upper edge of the coin, a Latin inscription to the left and right: 'ARCH∙AUST∙D∙BU∙C∙TYR∙1744' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1744). Below, the numeral 1. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
