Around the edge are English inscriptions: the monarch's name "ELIZABETH II" on the left and the British Crown Dependency "ISLE OF MAN" and the year of issue "2005" on the right. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man - a triskelion. Decorative raised beads run along the rim.
