In the upper part, along the rim's arc, is the Urdu text: 'اسلامی جمهوریه پاکستان' - 'ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN'. The central part depicts a crescent and star. Below it is the year of minting: '2016'. At the bottom are two wheat ears facing opposite directions. The edge of the coin is surrounded by decorative raised denticles.
