    In the central part, within a smaller circle, the numeral 2 ½. Along the edge of the coin, placed between two circles, an inscription in Spanish: «DOS I MEDIO CENTAVOS» - two and a half centavos, and the year of minting - 1885.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, within a smaller circle, is depicted the cap of the goddess Liberty with the Spanish inscription «LIBERTAD» (Liberty). To the left, top, and right along the rim, placed between two circles, an inscription in Spanish: «ESTADOS UNIDOS DE COLOMBIA», which translates to «United States of Colombia». In the lower part, along the curve of the coin's edge, are nine seven-pointed stars. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dentils.
