Reverse
In the upper part, following the curve of the coin's edge, is the English text: 'CIPRVS', which translates to 'Cyprus'. In the central part, within a smaller circle formed of dots, is the number 1/4. To the left, bottom, and right along the rim is the English inscription: 'QUARTER.1926.PIASTRE' - quarter piastre and the mint year 1926. The inscriptions are separated by four dots. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dots.
Obverse
In the central part is a left-facing profile portrait of King George V. On the truncation of the shoulder is the monogram 'B.M.' - the engraver's mark of Bertram MacKennal. To the left, top, and right along the rim is the English text: 'GEORGIVS V REX IMPERATOR', which translates to 'George V King and Emperor'. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dots.
