    In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of the facade of Buckingham Palace, with the flag of the United Kingdom flying on the flagpole. Above the palace are the Latin letters 'WK'. Below the image are the Latin letters 'PM'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top - 'BUCKINGHAM PALACE', at the bottom in two lines - '1 CROWN'.
  • Obverse
    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of minting '2009'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man - a triskelion. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
