    Within a circle, the left side depicts a woman with a child, the right side shows a river with sailing ships. Below the scene are the English inscriptions 'THE FUNERAL OF LORD NELSON', beneath it the admiral's name 'Horatio Nelson', below that the year of the battle '1805', and to its right the Latin letters 'PM'. Around the rim along the edge are English inscriptions: at the top 'THE BICENTENARY OF TRAFALGAR', at the bottom 'ONE CROWN', with a chain-like pattern on the right and left.

    Centered is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the edge of the coin are English inscriptions: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of issue '2005'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man – a triskelion. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
