Reverse At the top - the year of issue: '1718'. In the center is a crowned lion holding two globes. To the right, bottom, and left along the rim is the country's motto in Latin: 'VTRUNQ·VIRT·PROTEGO'. The rim edges are decorated with raised denticles.
Obverse In the center - the country's coat of arms in the form of a shield, surmounted by a crown. To its left is the mint mark of Zaragoza - a bat, to the right - the Roman numeral 2: 'II'. In the lower part, along the curve of the coin's edge, is an inscription in Latin: 'PHILIP·V·D·G·HISPAN·REX' - 'PHILIP V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN'.
