    The field is divided by a double semicircle into two unequal sectors. In the central part of the lower sector is an image of the Zbarazh Castle in the city of Zbarazh. To the left of the castle tower is the city name: 'ZBARAZH', to the right is the city coat of arms, below the tower is an inscription in Ukrainian: '800 РОКIВ', meaning '800 Years'. The upper sector features an image of the city's Christian churches.
  • Obverse
    In the central part is an image of an ancient round bas-relief with a Christian cross, as if standing on a pedestal formed by a double semicircle. To the left, top, and right along the rim, separated by the coat of arms, is an inscription in Ukrainian: 'НАЦIОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ', meaning 'National Bank of Ukraine'. Below the bas-relief is a two-line inscription in Ukrainian: '5 ГРИВЕНЬ' - 5 Hryvnias and the mintage year 2011. In the right part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the mint mark of the Kyiv Mint.
