In the central part, a left-facing profile portrait of the opera singer Ivan Kozlovsky. To the left, below, and to the right along the rim is an inscription in Ukrainian: «1900.ІВАН КОЗЛОВСЬКИЙ.1993» - his name and life years 1900-1993.
Obverse
In the central part, framed by a floral ornament, is an image of a musical instrument, a lyre. In its upper part, the country name is indicated in Ukrainian: «УКРАЇНА». Above it is the Coat of Arms of Ukraine, flanked left and right by the numbers «20» and «00» - the mintage year 2000. In the lower part of the lyre, a two-line semicircular inscription: «2 гривні» - 2 hryvnias.
