Reverse The central part features a three-line inscription: ALTYN BK1711, indicating the denomination, mint mark, and year of issue. Above the inscription is an ornament. Below the inscription are the initials DL separated by a decorative cross. These are the initials of mintmaster Diterik LEEFFKIEN (Dietrich Leffken, known in Russian as Timofey Levkin). The coin's edge is decorated with a leaf ornament.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire - a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, with a larger third crown between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The rim is executed as an ornament of oak leaves.
