    In the central part, the number 10 is depicted within a wreath. Below the numeral is the letter 'A' – the mint mark of the Paris Mint. Along the upper edge of the coin, from left to right, is the Spanish inscription: 'DIEZ CENTESIMOS DE FRANCO' – ten centesimos. Below, along the rim, is a five-pointed star. To the left of the star is a cornucopia, to the right is a symbol of authority (a fasces with an axe). The coin's edge features decorative elements in the form of denticles.

    In the central part is the coat of arms of the Dominican Republic. On the ribbon in the lower part of the coat of arms is the Spanish inscription: 'DIOS PATRIA LIBERTAD', translated as 'God, Fatherland, Liberty'. To the left, above, and to the right along the rim is the country's name in Spanish: 'REPUBLICA DOMINICANA'. In the lower part, along the edge of the coin and separated by two five-pointed stars, is the year of issue 1891. The coin's edge features decorative elements in the form of denticles.
