    At the top - the year of issue: "1719". In the center is a crowned lion holding two globes. To the right, bottom, and left along the rim is the country's motto in Latin: "VTRUNQ·VIRT·PROTEGO". The rim is decorated with raised denticles.

    In the center - the country's coat of arms in the form of a shield, surmounted by a crown. To its left is the mintmark of Zaragoza - a bat, to the right - the Roman numeral 4: "IIII". In the exergue, along the curve of the coin's edge, is the Latin inscription: "PHILIP·V·D·G·HISPAN·REX" - "PHILIP V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN".
