Below, the year of issue '1965', flanked on each side by an ornament resembling a dot with three radiating lines. The coin's edge features denticles.
Obverse
In the central part is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. Around the circumference, along the rim with raised denticles, is the name and title of the monarch in English: 'QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND'.
