    In the central part, an ice crystal – a snowflake in the shape of a six-pointed star is depicted. Around the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: at the top the year of issue '2011', the country name 'CANADA', and the inscription '25 CENTS'. On the sides, the inscription 'Happy Holidays!' in two languages: on the left in English 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS!', on the right in French 'JOYEUSES FÊTES!'. Around the rim are dots.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' – the artist's mark of Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, the Latin inscription is split into two parts: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left – 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen). Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised dots.
