    In the central part, within a circle, the mascots of the XXI Winter Olympic Games, the furry Quatchi and the bear cub Miga, are depicted facing left, participating in a competition - pairs figure skating. Quatchi glides on one skate, holding the bear cub with one hand overhead. The relief design in the central part of the reverse is executed in color. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: at the top the inscription '50 cents', on the left and bottom the location and year of the XXI Games - 'Vancouver 2010'.
