In the central part, a baroque-style heraldic shield, above it a crown. The shield bears the coat of arms of the Tyrol region: an eagle with wings spread, head turned to the left, wearing a crown on its head. Along the arc of the coin's edge, a Latin inscription on the right, bottom, and left reads 'ARCH∙AVST∙DUX∙BU∙CO∙TY∙1742∙' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1742). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
Obverse
In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the arc of the coin's edge, a Latin text: left and right '∙MAR∙THER∙D∙G∙REG∙HU∙BO∙' (Maria Theresa by the Grace of God Queen of Hungary, Bohemia), below within a circle the numeral '1'. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
