In the central part of the reverse, a relief image of a zeppelin flying left through clouds. Below its nose, the year of issue 1988. Above its tail, the mintmark of the Havana mint. In the upper part, along the rim's curve, the Spanish text: "MEDIOS DE TRANSPORTE", translating to "Vehicles". Along the curve of the lower rim, its name "Zeppelin" in Spanish: "ZEPPELIN".
Obverse
In the central part, the coat of arms of the Republic of Cuba. Above it, the Spanish inscription: "REPUBLICA DE CUBA", translating to "Republic of Cuba". In the lower part, along the curve of the rim, the Spanish inscription: "1 PESO" - 1 peso.
