In the central part, a bow, a club, and a quiver with arrows, tied together with a ribbon. To the left, top, and right along the rim, the country name Republic of Mexico in Spanish: 'REPUBLICA MEXICANA.'. In the lower part along the curve of the coin's edge is the mint year 1883. The edge of the coin features decorative denticle-shaped elements.
