Reverse
The central part of the reverse features raised designs of 2 concentric circles. Inside them are inscriptions in Nepali. At the bottom is the mint year in the Samvat calendar: "१९४७" - "1947" or 1890 in the Gregorian calendar. The edges of the rim are decorated with a raised ornamental pattern.
Obverse
At the top are two human feet, in the center are two crossed kukri knives. Around them are inscriptions in Nepali. The edges of the rim are decorated with a raised ornamental pattern.
