Reverse
In the central part of the reverse is a relief depiction of sugar cane shoots. Above is the numeral 10, to the left of the plants an inscription in a semicircle in English 'CENTS', translating to 'ten cents'. To the right at the bottom in a semicircle is the year of minting '1974'.
Obverse
Along the rim at the bottom is the country name Swaziland in English 'SWAZILAND'. In the central part is a portrait of King Sobhuza II, facing right in profile.
