    The central part features the right-facing profile of King George I of Great Britain. An inscription in Latin runs along the rim from left to right: 'GEORGIUS DEI GRATIA REX' (George, by the Grace of God, King). The edge of the coin has relief elements in the form of dentils (teeth).
